Love Alongside Series: Health Awareness Day.
Part of the Love Alongside series, this Health Awareness Day promoted physical and mental well-being in the community, with young volunteers spreading care and healthy-living messages.
In Hong Kong Island's Eastern District, one in every four residents is elderly. Believing that good health is a wish everyone shares, we hope to use medical technology to help older people understand their own health and take an active interest in it.
The NPP Eastern District team, the Hong Kong Teenager All-round Development Association, the Health For All Association and the Evergreen Elderly Integrated Support Platform therefore joined hands to create the Love Alongside Series "Health Awareness Day", designed especially for the elderly.
The day offered professional health talks and a range of free health-check booths, with free admission for seniors.
